The FCCOC is the official owners club for owners and fans of the Ford Consul Classic & Consul Capri models which were manufactured from 1961 until 1964. Also known as the 109e or 116e (right-hand drive) and 110e or 117e (left-hand).

Models include the Consul 315 (known as the Consul Classic in the UK market), which came in 2-door and 4-door variants, standard and deluxe, 1340cc and 1498cc, and the Consul 335 (Consul Capri), 1340cc and 1498cc, also available as 1498cc GT.

You can find details of both models on Wikipedia: Ford Consul Capri and Ford Classic.

The club was formed in 1985 following the cessation of both the Ford Classic Club and the Capri Club. The original committee was: Rob Bamford (chairman), Ian Stammers (magazine), Karen Salmon (membership), Dave Crane (public relations) Steve Rogers (spares), Doreen Bamford (accounts). Terry Warner (technical).

The first Auto jumble was April 1986, as Rob had kindly said we should use his ground for this, rather than pay for a field, and this has continued for over 38 years in total. Our first magzines were called five star review, featuring the the star bars on the front of the cars.
